May 22 2006 - Tapestry ascends to an Apache Top Level Project
The Tapestry project has been promoted from a sub-project of Jakarta to a top-level Apache project (a "TLP"). The new home page is http://tapestry.apache.org/.
With this promotion to TLP, Tapestry will be able to organize itself into separate, related sub-projects, each on their own release schedule. This will make it easier to introduce improvements to portions of Tapestry without having to wait for a major release cycle.
